Christmas 2011

Ordered Laos food for dinner with my boyfriend, his cousins and their girlfriends on Christmas Eve. Forgot to take photos of the food because I was too hungry, hehe. Oh, and his cousin owns this massive German Shephard which can barely walk cos it's too fat. Adorablez.

Time to open presents!

My wonderful boyfriend got me this.
I was, and still am, over the moon.

Got this from him too.
He made me open this first and I was like 'meh' when I saw it cos I thought it was for the regular NDS and I always just download games lol.

From his cousin!

Colette clutch bag from his cousin's girlfriend. I love it!

I wasn't expecting any gifts from anyone, besides Adam, so I felt really bad when his cousin and his girlfriend got me something cos I didn't get them anything. Definitely going to get everyone a present next year!

While they all headed to the city for karaoke afterwards, I went to Gerry's place to spend the last remaining hours of Christmas Eve with the girls.

Using the facial masks Jen got us from Japan. We are monsters.

Got hungry, so we went to Diem Hen at Canley Heights at 1am.
It was really yummy and cheap!

Drove to McDonald's for ice cream on a lid (basically a sundae), where we got crappy service, then went back to Gerry's. Chit chatted 'til the sun rose, ate cereal, created Mii characters of our friends on my 3DS and I woke up at 5.30pm, where I ate some of Gerry's mom's tasty food. Yerps, what a Christmassy Christmas I had.

Hope you all had a lovely 24th/25th too!

MissMakeupLover1's Christmas Giveaway prizes

So Melissa from MissMakeupLover1 had held a Christmas giveaway to celebrate her achievement of 100 followers! To my absolute astonishment, I won! This is the first time I've ever won something and I've entered a ridiculous number of competitions/giveaways over my lifetime LOL. Not only that, this giveaway was totally amazeballs!

The prizes included a pair of pink Tweezerman Tweezers, 2 OPI Shatter nail polishes in White and Red, and 1 MAC blush and lipstick of my choice each!

I've been wanting a pair for so long! I plucked some hair from my brows right after I ripped it out of the package, and it is dead set the best pair of tweezers I've laid my hands on.

My first Shatter nail polishes, let alone OPI.

Sheertone Shimmer Blush in "Sunbasque". My first
ever MAC product :D

I wanted a nice bronzer for the summer!

Cremesheen Lipstick in "Hot Gossip". My first choice was actually "Ruby
Woo" but it was sold out.

Just as I was throwing out the wrapping, I realised these samples were hiding in the wrapping paper! I assume these are bonus gifts :).

I think I've said thanks to Melissa a hundred times now, but thanks again! I love every single product and I wish you a Merry Christmas!

Still can't believe I won, really LOL.

Blogger 2011 Kris Kringle presents

I participated in the Blogger 2011 Kris Kringle, hosted by Melody and Jennifer, and received my present on Monday! My Secret Santa was the lovely Jenny, which I found kinda funny because I started following her blog about a week ago.

The anticipation!

Ooooo~

An Audrey Hepburn makeup palette, which I found really cute! It's a shame I haven't watched any of her films though lol.

Perfect for everyday looks :D

Been meaning to get a makeup bag that's small enough for my bag.

I was surprised to find more goodies :D.

So excited to try out all these awesome samples!

I was so happy to see this because this is actually on my
wish list on Cherry Culture!

Thanks so much for the wonderful gifts, Jenny! I hope you have a very Merry Christmas too! :)

I was actually having second thoughts about entering this Kris Kringle thing cos I hadn't blogged for almost a year and thought it'd be weird. But I'm glad I did cos it was fun! Defs entering again next year if there's one! Hope you guys enjoyed your presents as much as I did for everyone else who participated :).

Goodies from Japan!

My lovely friend, Jennifer, recently came back from 10-day trip in Japan and got all her friends a lot of stuff, and I mean A LOT. I was only expecting to get one thing and some candy, but this girl is too darn generous!

What's in the box? What's in the box today? :O

She even put the stuff in cute goodie bags!

Can't wait to use these facial masks with the girls!

My first pair of Dolly Winks! They were only $15/box which is a really good deal.

I love the totoro plush cos it's blue :D

A lil girl(?) on a macaroon.

Candy!

More candy!

Photobucket
She even got these figurines for my boyfriend! He hasn't assembled them yet though.

Thanks again, Jen! Gonna go gobble up the candy now :D.

Package: Cotton On

So my sister and I took advantage of Cotton On's 30% off online sale, which actually ends at midnight today!

Her cat allergies were acting up since last night from
playing with our friend's cat too much -_-.

I only got a few things:

Have been contemplating on getting JC's Mariel for the longest time, but I
wasn't sure if it'd be worth it. But these were only $28, so I had to get them!

Dainty lil' socks.

Really can't wait for the upcoming Boxing Day sales!

Update 2.0

I've been naughty and neglecting my poor blog for too long. I applaud anyone who studies or works and manages to have the energy and time to blog regularly. I mean, I've even stopped checking my daily reads, and that use to be my life.

So I decided to blog instantly once I had the itch to blog again, otherwise you would not be reading this post for another 5 months.

Well, I've completed my first year of university 3 weeks ago and am currently enjoying being able to be a lazy slob without feeling guilty.

Here's a run down of what my break has consisted of:
  • Discovered Hungry Jack's Spicy Sauce - better than McD's Big Mac Sauce
  • Been heading to bed at 4-6AM everyday
  • Attended the KPOP Music Festival - still in complete shock
  • Finished watching The O.C
  • Started watching Seinfeld
  • Started watching That '70s Show
  • Started and finished watching Arrested Development - this show is too great to have been cancelled. So glad there's going to be a 4th season and a movie!
  • The hospital tops my list of 'Most Hated Places to Be'
  • Used facial masks for the first time with the girls
  • Scored my first real job for the holidays
  • Built my 100th floor on Tiny Towers
  • Made a terrible sandwich
  • Got into Neopets again - feel free to add me as a neofriend: sophiepophiex

Yup, you can tell my holidays have been quite eventful. Waiting for my friends to finish their exams so we can get the party started *insert big woot*.

And here's my to-do list for the holidays:
  • Read a ton of books - my shopping cart for Book Depository is ready to go
  • Attend the Harry Potter Exhibition
  • Go to the gym regularly - first and last time I went was 2 weeks ago lol
  • Buy a new phone - suggestions?
  • Learn how to drive, god dammit
  • And I almost forgot, blog more!

Going to go watch Seinfeld so until next time, bloggerinos!

Moochi_ says bye!

Package from Canada

My lovely sister from Canada sent my sister, my dad and I Christmas/birthday presents. I lurrrrve getting stuff from her!

Yay!

A strand of her hair was taped to the package.
Pretty sure it was intended :')

Goodies!

Card addressed from last year since she didn't get
to send it out last year.

Why are the cards so cute?!

PJ's!

It's smaller than I imagined, but I love it nonetheless!

I was surprised when I saw this because she'd always ask me what I like from there but I didn't LOVE anything. This is really cute though. Now I know why she kept asking me if I liked bows haha.

Novel on drugs. She got us 'Go Ask Alice' few years ago
which was also about drugs lol.

Assorted makeup, mainly samples, to be split
between me and my sister.

My share - No idea how to use the Vera Wang bottle though.
And cupcake key headcovers!

I was squealing when I saw this! Use to eat this all the time when I was over there. Australia doesn't have them unfortunately :(

Absolutely love everything!

I think I should send a package to my sister this year since I never have and she always does.

I bet shipping will cost more than the actual gifts though... I mean, it was $130 just to ship all these things here! Ridix.

I almost forgot, it's my birthday today. Happy 19th to me~
