This is a little similar to this other palette I bought a few months ago:

So I decided to compare the two:

88 Palette vs. 120 Palette

Some of the swatches WITHOUT base:

I haven't worn the 88 Palette yet so I don't know about the staying power, but I'll add it in later.

120 Manly Palette
Pros
- smaller size
- inexpensive - $30
- more pans
- more variety of colourful shadows
- shimmers and mattes
- pans are slightly larger
- pretty pigmented with one application

Cons
- can only be purchased through eBay
- fallout
- some colours are chalky
- some colours do not give good payoff
- palette case is prone to getting fingerprints

88 Palette
Pros
- more cheaper - $15
- unique colours
- more neutrals
- includes shimmers, satins & mattes
- has a mirror
- comes with 2 sponge applicators

Cons
- can only be purchased off eBay
- most colours have poor pigmentation
- chalky
- palette case is prone to getting fingerprints
- one of the pans fell out as I opened it

Verdict:
Basically, both palettes have shadows that are hit and miss.
It's inexpensive so you get what you pay for.

But overall, I think I'll be using the 120 palette more often and the 88 palette for the unique colours.

babe that isnt the reg. 88 palette.
the usual coastal scents palette has the 4 e/s in the middle closer together...
so maybe its different to the 88 everyone uses and gives good reviews of?

I actually like the manly palette moreso than coastal scents. The colors come out more vibrant!
